The Weight Loss Travel Philosophy
- Each of us is an individual with unique biological, emotional, and spiritual characteristics. While we share certain factors with others due to biology, culture, and experience--the mix of these factors is what makes everyone an individual.
- We are 100 percent responsible for our success. So that is why creating your own weight loss plan or tailoring another plan is essential to achieving success--because it has to be a reasonable fit for who you are. Professional physicians, nutritionists, and fitness trainers provide expert assistance, but they cannot do the work. You are the one who will live the plan.
- The Weight Loss Travel Guide defines successful weight loss in the larger context of nutritious and healthful living. Success is defined as losing a predetermined amount of weight through eating a healthful whole food diet over a reasonable amount of time as well as being able to maintain your destination weight in a healthy way. In other words, no crash diets, etc.
- The Weight Loss Travel Guide does not endorse any third party weight reduction plans, though a review of past diets is part of the planning process. Some book reviews that promote a whole food approach to preparing and eating are recommended for your own research.
